Puncture repairs are always welcome without an appointment.
For all other services and repairs, you will need to book an appointment during high season (1st May - 1st October).
During low season (1st October - 1st April) you are welcome without an appointment.
You will receive your quote no later than the day after you have submitted your bike. The quote will be sent via SMS, and we do not commence work until the quote is approved. If you have submitted your bike for a puncture, we do not send a quote; instead, you pre-approve tire replacement if needed upon submission
Puncture repairs and tire changes are performed during the day, often within an hour. For more advanced repair work, our goal is to deliver the bike within 1-2 days after the approved quote. It is clearly indicated in the quote we provide if spare parts have a delivery time that affects your repair.
All payments at Bikemechanics are cashless. You can pay with all major cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), Klarna, Swish, or through a payment link via SMS. If you pay for your repair before pickup, you'll be back on the road quickly.
All work comes with a 6-month warranty when the bicycle has been repaired according to our quote. Spare parts and components have warranties from their respective manufacturers but not for normal wear and tear. We do not provide a warranty for puncture repairs.
We have almost all common spare parts in stock, allowing us to offer drop-in services and fast delivery times. For more uncommon parts, we usually order directly from the respective manufacturer
Yes! We have several loan bikes. If you know that you definitely need one, please inform us when making your appointment or give us a call. If one is available, we'd be happy to reserve it for you.
At our bike workshop on Rådmansgatan, we accept cargo bikes by appointment that are a maximum of 74 cm wide. This is what our door allows. We are working towards offering repairs for all cargo bikes in the near future. Please note that you need to book a time for your cargo bike. Online booking is not yet available, please email info@bikemechanics.se and we will find a time for you.
Yes!
If your electric motor is labeled Shimano or Bosch, we perform all conceivable repairs and upgrades. If it's something else, we still carry out most repairs such as gears, brakes, tires, and lighting, but currently, we cannot assist with repairing the electric motor itself and associated electronics. Our Electric Bike Service for Bosch and Shimano follows each manufacturer's detailed service protocols, ensuring that your e-bike continues to function smoothly without major disruptions.
